Liz was one of the first people to invite me to her home when we first moved to Portsmouth nearly 40 years ago. Although we lost touch whilst the children and work needed our attention, we have met up on many occasions since retirement and enjoyed lunches and chatter. She was such a lovely lady whom we have been fortunate to know.

I will always remember the good times we all had at Dundee Uni, particularly as part of the Peterson House crew. Subsequently Liz became an honorary member of the Class '73, attending our reunions, always smiling and bringing her bubbly personality. While she will not be with us this coming May for our 50th. we will raise a glass to her memory

I admired Liz so much for her bravery and stoicism during her illness. I valued her greatly when we worked together for many years during which she brought a steady pragmatic approach that was of huge benefit to her patients, their families and our colleagues. I remember Liz undertaking a very long and challenging walk to raise money for Naomi House. What a wonderful and remarkable lady she was,

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
